PEG 10 – Orbital Grinding Machine for Engine Valve Seats for Diameters Ø 20÷65 mm

The PEG 10 is an abrasive-action engine valve grinding machine that works according to a planetary system and which allows the grinding of valve seats with a diameter between Ø 20 and 65 mm.
Its ideal working field is therefore that of medium-sized engines, be they cars or trucks.

DESCRIPTION

PEG 10 acts according to a planetary rotation system that ensures the correct alignment of all the components of the machine, thanks also to the combined effect of the 3 grinding movements:

• Rotating movement
• Orbital movement
• Pendulum movement

The parts that make up the operating unit are assembled with the utmost technical rigor in order to avoid any possible error caused by the coupling between the parts.
The eccentric shaft passing through the motor shaft, is made with a fixed and rectified eccentricity and perfectly coupled with the pilot pin.

Every single component subject to rotation is carefully balanced, in order to avoid axial and radial play during the rotation of the bearings.
The gears with globe screws are housed in the upper part of the machine, which ends with the progress register of the micrometric pass.

The assembly stage of PEG 10 ends with an accurate verification and final testing, to check that the concentricity, balance and symmetry characteristics are respected.

The PEG 10 is sold in 4 different versions based on the accessories that make up the machine’s equipment.
The 4 variants are Standard, Univer, Motor Unit Only and Avio.
